A line of showers and strong thunderstorms will move southeast across the area from Columbus to Americus and Lumpkin through midnight. A few storms may briefly approach severe levels with gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. A few other storms will affect the northeast Georgia mountains. Storms will gradually weaken in intensity. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday... Scattered thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon before pushing out after sunset. After a period of dry weather, thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
